Glenfiddich
Glenfiddich 12 Years Old is the most popular single malt scotch whisky in the world and is sold worldwide in around 180 countries. The whisky has ripened for at least 12 years in barrels of American oak, in which Bourbon was previously ripened in Spanish oak barrels, in which sherry was previously ripened. After 12 years the barrels are selected by the malt master and poured into a wooden ‘Marrying Tun’ in which the whiskies can marry in order to get a nicely balanced whole. Glenfiddich is the only whisky from the Scottish Highlands that is distilled, ripened and bottled at its own distillery.
Balvenie
After ripening for 12 years in traditional whiskey barrels (American oak), the Balvenie DoubleWood is poured into ‘first-fill’ sherry European oak barrels. Both phases give the single malt scotch whisky its typical characteristics – the traditional barrels make the whisky soft and smooth and add character, while European wood gives the whiskey a deep, fruity, full flavour.
Highland Park
Highland Park 12 Years Old is typical Highland Park. A complete single malt scotch whisky with a soft smoky, surprisingly sweet character– thanks to the heathland turf of Orkney and exclusive ripening in sherry barrels. Connoisseurs and enthusiasts consider Highland Park 12 Years Old a good all-rounder, which has a lot to offer.
Bruichladdich
Bruichladdich Scottish Barley is created by master distiller Jim McEwan, in barrels selected by him personally. The ultimate example of the unturfed, cheerful and elegant house style of Bruichladdich. Made of 100% Scottish pressed barley, distilled per drop and when fully ripened at the coast of Loch Indaal, in the best quality barrels of American oak. This is a testimony to the quality of our ingredients. This is authentic. We believe that barley matters.
Macallan
The Macallan was founded in 1824 in Speyside which is one of the first distilleries in Scotland with an official licence. This non-aged whisky gets its name, amber, from its amber colour. Due to aging in American and Spanish former sherry barrels, a fruit whisky is created with fine notes of wood.
Laphroaig
Laphroaig 10YO is a single malt whisky from the remote island of Islay. When making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried. The smoke of this turf, which is extracted on Islay, gives Laphroaig its typical full flavour. The scent and the taste are filled with smoke. In addition, it has a surprisingly rich flavour: sweet with a hint of salt. Delightful.
